This year the Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design virtually honored some of the most influential and innovative design work in the international hospitality industry on December 14.
Winners in 23 categories, as well as the Judges’ So Cool honoree and the Designer of the Year, were revealed during this virtual awards ceremony. NEWH kicked off the event by presenting this year’s $10,000 Interior Design scholarship sponsored by P/Kaufmann Contract to student Khalid Mousa.
The 2020 Gold Key judges selected this year’s standout winners and finalists from a competitive field of 350 project submissions from more than 100 design firms around the world. To be eligible, new construction, conversion or renovation projects must have been completed from July 1, 2019 to July 1, 2020. Both winners and finalists will also be highlighted in the Winter 2020 issue of Boutique Design magazine.
